My research interests stem from personal, academic, and clinical experiences related to the effects of minority stress on individual psychology functioning and well-being. I specifically examine these implications in the context of suicide risk and trauma. My dissertation, based on research related to these studies, focused on cultural differences between suicidal and non-suicidal African Americans.
